The Ministry of Tourism, through the National Heritage Conservation Commission (NHCC), wishes to inform the public and our valued visitors that progress is steadily being made on the ongoing barricade works at Mosi-oa-Tunya (Victoria Falls) World Heritage Site.
These works are being carried out as part of our continued efforts to enhance visitor safety, protect the integrity of the site and improve the overall tourist experience at one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
While sections of the site remain accessible, we kindly urge all visitors to adhere to safety guidance provided by staff on the ground during this period. The works are scheduled to be completed soon, after which guests will enjoy renewed viewing areas and strengthened protective measures.
The Ministry remains committed to ensuring that Zambia’s tourism treasures are safe, sustainable and world-class.
