The Honourable Minister of Veterans Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Mr Pei jinjia was welcomed by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Tourism, Evans Muhanga.The Visit by the Minister of Tourism Rodney Sikumba who traveled to Beijing, China,in May 2024 to officiate the launch of 2024 as the year of Tourism and Culture between Zambia and China was reciprocal and significant as Minister Pei will hold bilateral talks with counterparts from Tourism and defence,commemorating 60 yeas of friendship between Zambia and China.Additionally the heroes who died in Zambia will be honoured for playing a pivotal role in establishing the TAZARA Railway, which will be celebrated with Tazara Museum and a heritage site dedicated to these veterans.
